Christmas Kitengela

Our Family Christmas

The Christmas day started early. Our sheep was taken to the church, to feed many. It was amazing to see how people came and started to help in chopping, cooking…

The message by p.Jukka had fresh revelation of Jesus's birth, from Luke 2: 1-20. God Himself took care of everything, not one single detail was manipulated by men. For us this means that Gosd Himself, takes care of the life that He has given inside of us. So we are in safe hands.

As I mentioned the preparations started early 7:30 am, the food was ready around 2 pm. But it was worth of waiting. Our menu had: roasted sheep, intestines, pilau rice with meat, chapatis, steamed cabbage, rice, tea. We fed about seventy people, and for sure we were hungry.

After the meal we had time for relaxing, before the rap/questions and answers time. There was some sports activities, like badminton, darts, ping pong and even football.

We came home around 6 pm, the day was busy, but so good. I think this started a new tradition to celebrate Christmas in our Kitengela church.

Greetings to all from Kitengela GGWO

An interesting thought shared by p.Jukka: "If I don't eat the fish, the fish will eat me up". He meant that,  if I don't share my faith to the world, the world all eat me up.  I will take on the world's value system. This caused me to think, how important it  is to go out, and seek the lost souls from "the net" of this world. This also keeps me, being focused in the God's value system.

Come and visit us, we have much fun together...
