Happy new beginnings with Isaiah 43:18-19

2014 has begun and the first month of it is almost gone. Time is something we have now, in heaven we have eternity, and it seems that time flies by quickly. Or is it that I,m getting older and to do thing it takes longer time.

We were in Finland two weeks, visiting relatives, friends  and had good time in the the church. Weather was truly different than here. During our visit, sun was out for three minutes in total, it was dark and rainy. This time we did not even see snow, nor experience coldness.

Being back we have Bible school fully going on. Soon in February 14 - 16 th, we'll have seminar with p. Juha Haatanen and p. Sam Muhima. If you can come to celebrate with us. Think first five men will get their Certificates, meaning they have studied the Word of God for two years, each having between 50- 60 credits.

The pictures are from the home, of one our Bible school students p.Peter, from Kiambu. We were so blessed by this visit. Think to spent time, in an Eden-like environment, green, peaceful, fertile… the home is surrounded by tea and coffee plantations. Banana's, avocados, sugarcane grows all around the hills. Their home is wooden having no power, nor running water. For us a dream place to rest. We were welcomed so friendly, though with little fear, because we were the first white people visiting their home. But we were treated like royalties. In few weeks we'll go back to stay there few days.

We are truly privileged, that we can serve people with Jesus here in Kenya, greetings p. Jukka and Helena
