GGWO Kenya: May 2014

Once again we could travel to Uganda conference. The trip takes around 16 hours by bus, but is absolutely worth of it.

This years theme was: The Blood of Jesus Christ. It is so amazing to understand more, about the value of the literal Blood of our dear Lord and Savior. Jesus did shed as much blood, as was needed to cleanse us from all our sins, not only that but He also became sin for us, Hebrews 9:22. Oh, what a Savior.

The conference had about 850 people attending, from different parts of Africa. From Kitengela we were a group of eleven people. And surely we came back being changed by the Word. Many said, we need to save money to travel, again next year.

Jukka and I travelled there few days before, to enjoy the hospitality of Muhima's. During this trip one of Jukka's dream became true, he went for fishing at Lake Victoria. Trip was good, but he got no fish.

Graduation was special for us, because p.Erik Okana from Nambale, Kenya was the first ever in our ministry from Kenya who got degree certificate. Meaning he has studied in Nansana Bible school for three years. He has five children and wife, but they have agreed that, he travels to Uganda and studies there for four years. Between the semesters he goes back home. It seems this caused some Kenyan men from Kisii to consider, coming to Bible school in Kitengela. Lets pray it will work out.

For me it was such joy to see Imani again. Her and her mom are located now for a while in Nansana. It was good to spend time with her, and to hear her call: "My sosh" meaning my grandmother.

After conference we had Ladies seminar, Julie Arman from Malawi and me shared the Word. We heard amazing testimonies from Ugandan ladies. At the same time p.Schibelli had leadership seminar with men.
